Description
The LEO Foundation’s Education and Awareness Grants support activities in Denmark that build the pipeline of future researchers in medicine, chemistry, and pharmacy. The program seeks to spark children’s and young people’s interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and strengthen their capabilities in those fields.
It also supports projects that make research-based knowledge accessible to the public, explain science’s role in society, or deepen understanding of skin, skin health, and skin diseases. Previously funded work includes children’s books about Danish scientists, a podcast about skin and skin diseases, and Young Scientists activities.
