Description
The Society of Toxicology (SOT) Education Award recognizes an individual distinguished by teaching and training toxicologists and by significant contributions to education across the broad field of toxicology. It honors educational accomplishments already achieved rather than supporting a proposed research project. The award centers on both the preparation of toxicologists and contributions to toxicology education more broadly.
Part of the Society’s awards program, this recognition consists of a cash stipend and a plaque presented at the SOT Annual Meeting Awards Ceremony. Nomination materials document the nominee’s teaching and training accomplishments and analyze the significance of their contributions to toxicology education.
