Description
Education Mini Grants support small-scale conservation and natural resource education led by Montana conservation districts. Offered through the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation’s Conservation Districts Bureau, the grants are part of a state-funded effort to strengthen locally led conservation.
Projects can serve youth or adults through workshops, field trips, classroom programs, community outreach, educational resources, and other activities focused on local conservation issues. A project may address a specific audience or topic and need not appear in the district’s annual work plan, but it must align with the district’s goals and demonstrate a public natural resource benefit.
