Summary: Supports innovative radiology education projects, especially those introducing new teaching methods or addressing priority areas such as precision medicine, vulnerable populations, and efficiency.
The Education Project Award provides supplemental funding for new or ongoing projects that advance radiology education. The award is designed to recognize and amplify the contributions of educators by supporting initiatives that introduce innovative teaching methodologies, develop educational resources, or implement novel evaluation mechanisms. Beginning with the 2026–27 cycle, the program emphasizes priority focus areas, including precision medicine (theranostics), imaging in vulnerable populations, efficiency improvements, personalized pediatric imaging, cybersecurity in radiology departments, and increasing access and efficiency. However, investigator-initiated projects across all aspects of radiologic education—such as curriculum development, global education initiatives, and community outreach—are also welcome.
