Description
The Education to Careers Grant is administered by the Idaho Workforce Development Council (WDC) through its Outreach Committee. It supports projects that expand public information and outreach around career education and workforce training opportunities across Idaho. The program connects learners, educators, employers, industry, and communities with career-connected experiences that strengthen the state’s talent pipeline.
The program emphasizes empowering educators, linking classrooms and communities with industry, and helping Idahoans explore, prepare for, and pursue meaningful careers. The Outreach Committee seeks to increase awareness of and access to career education, work-based learning, and training opportunities, while improving knowledge of Workforce Development Training Fund programs. These efforts support WDC’s broader goals of economic mobility, pathways to in-demand careers, and retaining skilled talent in Idaho.
