Description
The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation (AAP Foundation) Educator Scholarship is designed to encourage advanced periodontal residents in the United States to pursue academic careers. This scholarship provides $12,000 in financial support to residents enrolled in U.S. periodontal postdoctoral training programs. The funds may be applied toward tuition, living expenses, or debt reduction during the training period. In return, recipients must commit to serving as full-time educators at U.S. periodontal programs—one year of service for each year of scholarship received.
