    Description

The Edwards Memorial Support Grants are designed to assist women who are emerging scholars in art history, either at an advanced stage of doctoral studies or within two years of earning their PhD. The grants cover registration fees and related expenses (such as travel, childcare/eldercare, or technology) to enable participation in the College Art Association (CAA) Annual Conference. Priority is given to applicants presenting (onsite or virtually) on topics related to the art of ancient Greece and Rome, medieval Europe (400–1400), or Europe and North America (1400–1950). The program aims to increase scholarly engagement and visibility for women in the field of art history at a pivotal career stage.
