Description
The Edwards Memorial Support Grants, administered by the College Art Association (CAA), help emerging women scholars cover registration fees and expenses associated with presenting at the CAA Annual Conference. Established in 2014 by Mary D. Edwards in memory of Archibald Cason Edwards Sr. and Sarah Stanley Gordon Edwards, the program supports both onsite and virtual participation.
The grants address practical barriers to presenting scholarly work, including travel, caregiving, and technology costs directly connected to a conference session. Priority is given to applicants presenting on the art of ancient Greece and Rome, medieval Europe from 400 to 1400, or Europe and North America from 1400 to 1950.
