The Edwin V. Valdiserri Correctional Public Psychiatry Fellowship provides current psychiatry residents with an opportunity to gain specialized experience, training, and mentorship in correctional settings. The fellowship is designed to cultivate future leaders in public psychiatry by offering sponsorship to major psychiatric meetings, exposure to leadership and professional development activities, collaboration with peers, and participation in APA governance. Fellows will also build a professional network through exclusive events and engagements with APA leaders.
