Description
Efteruddannelsespulje is the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s continuing education programme for teachers at public and private primary schools and gymnasiums in Denmark. It supports individually chosen, practice-oriented short formal or informal courses, alongside time to develop teaching at the teacher’s own institution. The aim is to strengthen teachers’ subject-specific teaching skills and professional engagement, while promoting scientific literacy and young people’s interest, knowledge, and skills in science, technology, and sustainability.
The 2027/28 programme offers 65 courses covering topics such as artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, climate, biodiversity, fieldwork, and practical mathematics. Courses are provided by universities, university colleges, and gymnasium subject associations. Three additional development days give teachers time for reflection, lesson preparation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with colleagues.
