This fellowship provides two one-year awards to Egyptian Ph.D. candidates enrolled at Egyptian public universities. Fellows are expected to participate in the academic life of the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE), present their research publicly, submit an article to ARCE’s membership magazine, and provide a detailed fellowship report. The program offers access to ARCE’s Cairo Center facilities, administrative support, guidance on publishing, and opportunities to participate in academic events. The main aim is to support advanced dissertation research in fields related to Egypt’s history, culture, and heritage.
