Description
Eisai’s Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) Program supports research proposed and conducted by independent investigators or institutions. Studies must address legitimate medical or scientific questions involving Eisai marketed products or investigational compounds and align with the company’s research priorities. Applicants retain full control over study planning and execution.
Current interests are epilepsy outside the United States, insomnia, early Alzheimer’s disease, and breast, endometrial, hepatocellular, lung, renal cell, and thyroid cancers. The program considers pre-clinical, prospective clinical, real-world evidence, and retrospective studies. Eisai evaluates proposals for scientific merit, therapeutic relevance, cost effectiveness, and feasibility.
