--- ## Description The ELATE Graduate Student Research Award, offered by the English Language Arts Teacher Educators (ELATE), is designed to support innovative research projects by graduate students that advance the mission and position statements of ELATE. The award funds research that addresses current challenges and important issues in English education, with the intent to generate insights relevant to policymakers, educators, and researchers. Recipients are recognized at the ELATE Luncheon and Business Meeting during the NCTE Annual Convention and are expected to present their findings at a future NCTE or ELATE conference. --- ## Due Dates - August 8, 2026: Proposal deadline Decisions are typically announced by late September 2026.
