Description
The Elmer E. Klaus Fellowship supports graduate students undertaking research related to tribology or lubrication engineering. Offered by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) through its Presidential Awards Program, it is administered by the STLE Presidential Council. The fellowship connects financial support for graduate study with an opportunity to participate in research, encouraging students to pursue graduate degrees or careers in tribology.
The program emphasizes the relevance of the proposed research to tribology and the quality of the research experience. Recipients submit research reports and are recognized at the STLE Annual Meeting. Reports are tentatively scheduled for publication in the July issue of Tribology & Lubrication Technology (TLT) magazine.
