The EMDR Research Foundation’s Dissemination Travel Award supports sharing EMDR-focused research at local, national, and international non-EMDR professional conferences. It is one of the Foundation’s two Research Dissemination Awards, which help clinicians, doctoral students, and university faculty share findings through professional meetings or peer-reviewed journals. The travel award covers direct costs of conference attendance, including registration, airfare, and lodging.
The program seeks to bring research findings to audiences beyond EMDR professional meetings, build knowledge, and strengthen EMDR practice and research. Reviewers consider how closely a presentation addresses the Foundation’s research priorities, its potential significance, and its clarity and specificity. Eligible presentations are peer-reviewed or invited oral sessions or workshops based on research conducted specifically on EMDR.
