The EMDR Research Foundation’s Research Consultation Awards help clinicians, doctoral and post-doctoral students, and university faculty access expertise needed to advance research on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Awards support the development of a new research project, completion of research already underway, or preparation of an EMDR article for publication in a professional journal.
The program connects clinical and research expertise. Clinicians with EMDR expertise can seek consultation on research design, methods, statistical analysis, fidelity ratings, or publication. Applicants with research expertise can seek clinical EMDR consultation, fidelity checks or raters, or training. The Foundation prioritizes clear, specific projects that address its research priorities, strengthen EMDR knowledge and practice, and could lead to conference presentations or professional journal articles.
