Description
This program seeks pre-applications for projects that develop and deploy effective tactics and strategies to control Huanglongbing (HLB, citrus greening) and its disease complex, aiming for financially sustainable citrus production in the United States. Funded projects must integrate research and extension activities, use collaborative and trans-disciplinary approaches, and deliver solutions that can be rapidly implemented by citrus growers. The program prioritizes projects that address critical needs such as developing resistant citrus varieties, managing disease vectors, improving detection and surveillance, and advancing delivery systems for therapies.
