Description
This program aims to help hospitals and emergency departments—including freestanding and rural emergency hospitals—establish and implement evidence-based practices that provide alternatives to pharmacological opioid interventions for pain care. The goal is to reduce harmful consequences associated with opioid use, promote safer pain management, and decrease the risk of opioid misuse and overdose within healthcare settings.
