Description
This grant program provides funding to rural volunteer fire, rescue, and ambulance departments to help them acquire essential emergency response equipment and life-safety gear for their personnel. The goal is to ensure that first responders in rural communities are well-equipped to handle emergencies safely and efficiently, supporting both operational capabilities and the recruitment and retention of volunteers. Eligible equipment includes hand and extraction tools, fire suppression and response tools, medical equipment, communication devices, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
