Description
The DeKalb County Community Foundation’s Grantmaking at a Glance is an overview of multiple grant opportunities, rather than a single award. The portfolio supports community programs and initiatives that create opportunity, serve the greater good, and enhance quality of life in DeKalb County, Illinois. Each program has its own focus areas, eligibility requirements, application process, and schedule.
The portfolio includes Build the Future, Community Needs, Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund, Emergency, Upward Mobility, and Youth Engaged in Philanthropy grants. It also includes Future Leaders Internship grants and Professional Development MicroGrants through the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership (DCNP). The Foundation’s broader support spans arts and culture, community development, education, environment and animal welfare, health and human services, and nonprofit capacity building.
