Description
The Emergency Insect Management Grant provides supplemental help to manage emergency outbreaks of insect pests and insects that carry diseases. The Wyoming Emergency Insect Management Committee administers the program, which was established under the Emergency Insect Management Program Act passed by the Wyoming Legislature in 2003.
The program supports responses that protect human health and safety, animal health—including livestock and wildlife—agriculture, and natural resources. It is intended for state agencies and local government bodies facing outbreaks that threaten these areas.
