Description
The Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG), administered by the Michigan State Police Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division (MSP/EMHSD), provides federal funding to state, local, tribal, and territorial governments in Michigan to build and sustain a comprehensive emergency management program. The grant is designed to strengthen all-hazards preparedness through planning, training, exercises, mitigation, and response activities, supporting the National Preparedness System and Goal.
