Description
The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Fellowship at Mayo Clinic is a one-year, ACGME-accredited program designed to develop future leaders in prehospital emergency medicine. Fellows receive comprehensive clinical, research, and educational experiences, including operational exposure in both urban and rural settings. The curriculum encompasses specialized training in urban search and rescue, hazardous materials response, mass gathering and event medicine, disaster preparedness, and tactical emergency medical support. The program also offers hands-on experience with the Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service, prehospital telemedicine, community paramedicine, and rotations at both the Minnesota and Arizona campuses for exposure to geographically distinct EMS systems.
