The program focuses on solutions to stressors that affect physicians’ well-being, effectiveness, and resiliency.
Research may examine approaches to creating a supportive, healthy workplace or identify and address factors contributing to burnout, moral injury, and workplace stress. EMF encourages partnerships between research universities and community emergency departments. Supported discoveries are intended to reach the public and scientific community through national meetings, peer-reviewed publications, and other scientific or public policy channels.
