Description
The Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA) administers Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) sub-grants to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis regain stability. The program supports street outreach to people without shelter; emergency shelter operations, improvements, and essential services; rapid re-housing into permanent homes; and assistance that prevents homelessness.
Eligible activities also include Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data collection and certain program administration costs. ADFA awards funds to organizations serving areas of need across Arkansas rather than providing individual housing assistance directly. Projects are considered in light of their proposed activities, regional needs, and available funding.
