Description
The Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) program, administered in Idaho by the Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA), is a HUD-funded initiative dedicated to combating homelessness and supporting those at risk of losing their homes. ESG funds are used to support a comprehensive crisis response system, including street outreach, emergency shelter operations and renovations, rental assistance, and housing relocation and stabilization services. The program is designed to serve as the initial intervention within a broader continuum of care, helping individuals and families transition from homelessness or prevent its occurrence.
