4Culture’s Emergency and Unforeseen grants address unexpected facility needs for cultural and science organizations and designated landmarks. Eligible situations include fires, floods, other damage, threats to people or collections, and opportunities such as a lease or property acquisition that could be lost before the next regular funding deadline. Historic-property acquisition may qualify when the property is in danger of destruction.
