Description
CareQuest Institute for Oral Health’s Emergent & Relief Fund supports communities and partner organizations responding to unforeseen circumstances, including displacement following natural disasters and unexpected clinical disruptions that affect access to care. The fund emphasizes historically marginalized communities and contributes to CareQuest Institute’s goal of an oral health system that is just, equitable, and accessible to all.
The fund also supports time-sensitive opportunities to develop innovative approaches to oral health systems change, one-time urgent needs facing clinics and organizations, and convenings that promote shared learning and best practices. Natural disaster relief need not be directly related to oral health. Across the program, applicants describe the communities served, community involvement, and the outcomes their proposed work will achieve.
