Description
The Emerging Creator Fellowship is designed to empower developing artists residing in Charlotte-Mecklenburg by providing resources to encourage creative risk-taking and the acquisition of new skills. This fellowship supports early-career creatives (less than nine years of experience) who are still exploring their artistic practice and need opportunities for significant growth. Funding is intended for new trainings, workshops, apprenticeships, or residencies—not for completing previously started work. The program aims to help recipients expand their creative practices, build sustainable careers, and lay a foundation for future innovation, as part of the Arts and Science Council’s commitment to a vibrant and inclusive arts community.
