Description
This funding opportunity supports research and surveillance activities aimed at preventing, detecting, and managing infectious diseases associated with international travel. The program seeks to enhance the speed of outbreak detection, inform public health guidelines, optimize surveillance and diagnostic strategies, and advance global health security. There are two components: (A) a clinic-based sentinel network and (B) sentinel detection in international transportation hubs. Applicants may apply for either or both components, but only one component will be awarded per recipient.
