Description
The Emerging Leaders Fellowship, organized by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM), is a competitive, yearlong professional development program designed for new faculty and those transitioning into leadership roles within academic family medicine. The fellowship provides immersive training, mentorship from experienced leaders, and hands-on leadership project experience. Fellows attend two STFM Annual Spring Conferences, a mid-year in-person workshop, and participate in leadership practicums, peer synergy groups, and regular conference calls. The program culminates in a national conference presentation, offering opportunities for fellows to showcase their professional growth and contribute to the broader academic family medicine community.
