--- ## Description The Emerging Leaders Scholarship recognizes and supports individuals who exemplify outstanding leadership and a strong commitment to their communities. Applicants are encouraged to describe their leadership roles, particularly within Honor Society Chapters, and how these experiences connect to their academic and personal goals. The scholarship is designed to honor those who have demonstrated excellence both within and outside of the Honor Society. Selection is based on the relevance of leadership experience and academic achievement, as assessed by a scholarship review committee. --- ## Due Dates - April 14, 2026: Application deadline for the Emerging Leaders Scholarship --- ## Funding Amount - Each scholarship award is $1,000. - The number of recipients varies each cycle; no minimum or maximum is guaranteed. - Awards are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent. --- ## Eligibility - Open to all individuals; applicants do **not** need to be Honor Society members. - No purchase or membership fee is required to apply or to be selected. - Applicants must be comfortable providing a video and/or written testimonial about their leadership and the scholarship. - Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. - Not open to residents of jurisdictions where such programs are restricted or prohibited by law. --- ## Application Process - Complete the online application by the deadline. - Required materials: - Description (up to 500 words) of the importance of leadership and your leadership experiences (Honor Society and/or external). - Explanation of how your leadership relates to your major, life, or goals. - Unofficial transcript (official transcript required before disbursement if selected). - Completion of Honor Society profile and upload of a headshot. - Applications are reviewed using a scoring rubric.
