--- ## Description The Emerging Leaders Scholarship provides financial support and public recognition to students and professionals who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, and a commitment to their communities. The program seeks applicants who have held leadership roles—either within Honor Society chapters or in other organizations—and can articulate the impact and relevance of their leadership experience to their academic, personal, or career goals. The scholarship aims to foster continued engagement in leadership activities by celebrating recipients’ achievements. --- ## Due Dates - March 14, 2026: Full application deadline (current cycle) --- ## Funding Amount - Each award is $1,000. - The number of scholarships awarded per cycle is not specified and may vary. - Awards are non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged for cash. --- ## Eligibility - Open to all students and professionals; no restrictions based on academic level, field of study, or Honor Society membership. - Applicants do not need to be Honor Society members or pay any fees to apply or win. - Applicants should be comfortable providing a video and/or written testimonial about their leadership experience and the scholarship. - Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. - Not open to residents of jurisdictions where such programs are restricted or prohibited by law. --- ## Application Process - Complete the application form on the [Honor Society website](https://www.honorsociety.org/emerging-leaders-scholarship-0). - Requirements include: - A description (up to 500 words) of how your leadership experience is relevant to your major, life, or goals. - Explanation of the importance of leadership and details of your role(s) inside or outside Honor Society chapters. - Upload an unofficial transcript (official transcript required if selected for award). - Complete your Honor Society profile and upload a headshot. - Selection is based on the relevance and academic achievement, scored by a rubric.
