Description
The Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans program, run by the Greater New Orleans Foundation, is a six-month, collaborative grantmaking initiative designed to empower local leaders and support innovative nonprofit organizations. Using a Giving Circle model, the program forms impact teams focused on priority areas—Arts & Culture, Health, and Human Rights & Justice—each awarding up to $10,000 to selected nonprofits. The process includes educational sessions, proposal review, site visits, and a final group decision on grant allocations, fostering both community impact and the professional development of participants.
