Description
This opportunity supports early-career researchers in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) methods to establish and lead an independent Emmy Noether research group in Germany. The program aims to foster innovation and international visibility for researchers developing or advancing AI methods, including but not limited to machine learning, optimisation, logic and reasoning, algorithmics, data analytics, knowledge representation, and statistical learning. Successful applicants receive funding to build their own research group, refine their research profile, and progress toward academic independence and eligibility for professorships.
