Description
This program enables outstanding early-career researchers in artificial intelligence (AI) methods to establish and lead an independent Emmy Noether Group for up to six years. The initiative aims to foster the next generation of leaders in AI method development, encompassing areas such as machine learning, optimization, logic and reasoning, algorithmics, data analytics, knowledge representation, formal foundations, and statistical learning. The program is designed to enhance recipients' research profiles and international visibility, supporting their career trajectory toward professorship within the German research system.
