Description
The Emmy Noether Lectures, established by the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM), annually recognize women who have made significant and lasting impacts in the mathematical sciences. Honorees deliver a one-hour expository lecture at the Joint Mathematics Meetings each January. The award is intended to celebrate achievements, inspire the mathematical community, and highlight the contributions of women in mathematics. The recipient receives a $1,000 honorarium, a certificate, and is featured in an article in the AWM Newsletter.
