Description
Boeing’s Employees Community Fund (ECF) pools employees’ tax-deductible donations to support nonprofits in their communities. Employee-led grantmaking committees at 23 Boeing sites distribute these contributions, tailoring their priorities to local needs. The fund has operated for more than 60 years, and Boeing provides administrative support so employee contributions benefit local communities.
Chapter priorities include health and human services, education, arts and culture, environmental work, veterans, and children. These are not universal funding categories: some chapters exclude fields supported elsewhere. Florida Space Coast, for example, focuses on capital assets for health and human service providers, while Southern California supports several program areas.
