Description
The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) and the Lillian Lodge Kopenhaver Program offer this fellowship to support up to eight early-career women faculty members in journalism and mass communication education. It aims to help fellows prepare for tenure, navigate burnout and career stagnation, and build confidence in teaching pedagogy, research and scholarly productivity, and Professional Freedom & Responsibility service.
The program spans one academic year. Fellows remain at their home institutions while participating in group sessions at two AEJMC Annual Conferences and a mid-year virtual session. Each fellow is paired with a senior woman mentor.
