    Description

    The EmpowerMENt Fund, administered by the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, is designed to uplift young Black males in Washtenaw County, Michigan, with a focus on promoting their educational success. The fund was established through extensive community input and aims to address systemic inequities by supporting organizations and initiatives that provide mentorship, vocational and skilled trades training, college readiness, academic support, social-emotional development, mental health resources, family engagement, and community-based approaches that actively engage young Black males in program design and leadership.
