Description
The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department requests proposals annually for Endangered Invertebrates Grants under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The grants are part of the Cooperative Endangered Species Conservation Fund, which supports voluntary conservation of listed species and species that are candidates for listing.
Proposals may address invertebrates listed or proposed for listing under federal or state Endangered Species Acts. Traditional projects include scientific experiments, invertebrate rearing, monitoring, and habitat restoration. The program also supports land acquisition and assistance with Habitat Conservation Planning.
