Description
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Endangered and Nongame Species Program offers Conserve Wildlife Matching Grants through its Fish and Wildlife Program. Funded by Conserve Wildlife license plate renewal fees, the grants support projects in New Jersey that advance conservation and education for endangered, threatened, and nongame wildlife.
Projects may combine education, outreach, research, species protection, habitat management, and other conservation work. They should address an important threat or action in New Jersey’s State Wildlife Action Plan. Work that complements a significant Endangered and Nongame Species Program initiative or could inform its future work is encouraged.
