Description
This Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) mini-grant opportunity funds community-driven projects that advance HIV care, prevention, and engagement throughout Arkansas. The program is designed to support organizations trusted by local residents in implementing comprehensive, evidence-based initiatives that improve retention in care, viral suppression, community engagement, and prevention of HIV transmission. Funded projects must align with the national Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative and are expected to use a syndemic approach—integrating screening and testing for HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), hepatitis C, and tuberculosis. Eligible activities include empowerment groups, needs assessments, and capacity-building strategies, all aimed at addressing health disparities and improving outcomes for populations most affected by HIV.
