Description
The Energy Innovation Grant Program is administered by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin’s Office of Energy Innovation (OEI). It supports energy projects across Wisconsin, with eligible activities chosen separately for each round based on Commission priorities, emerging trends, and public input. Round 6 is funded through the U.S. Department of Energy’s State Energy Program using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds.
Round 6 aims to advance adoption of innovative energy technologies and processes and expand access to clean energy, efficiency, and preparedness in communities otherwise unable to adopt these approaches. Its activities cover renewable energy and storage installations, energy efficiency and demand response, comprehensive energy planning, and microgrid feasibility studies.
