Description
This funding opportunity from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) aims to strengthen the ability of patients, families, caregivers, and the broader healthcare community to participate as partners in patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER). The Engagement Award: Capacity Building supports initiatives that:
- Build the skills and capacity of non-researchers (patients, caregivers, community members) to engage meaningfully in future patient-centered CER.
- Enhance researchers’ ability to collaborate with community stakeholders.
- Enable previous PCORI Engagement Awardees to expand the impact of their capacity-building work.
Note: This award does not fund research studies themselves, but rather projects that prepare and empower stakeholders and researchers for future engagement in patient-centered CER.
