Description
This funding opportunity supports projects that enhance the ability of patients, families, caregivers, and the broader healthcare community to participate as partners in patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER). The program aims to:
- Help non-researchers (patients, caregivers, communities) develop skills to engage meaningfully in all phases of CER.
- Strengthen researchers’ capacity to collaborate effectively with patient and community partners.
- Enable previous awardees to expand or deepen the impact of their capacity-building efforts.
The focus is on building the necessary infrastructure and skills for effective patient-centered CER partnerships, not on conducting research studies themselves.
