Description
The Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award Program supports meetings, conferences and other multi-party convenings that bring patients, families, caregivers and the broader healthcare community together around patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER). Convenings must share a focus, such as geography, a health condition or a population, and demonstrate how they will expand patient-centered CER.
Projects may develop research topics, priorities and engagement plans, share engagement methods, foster partnerships or actively disseminate eligible PCORI-funded findings. The goal is meaningful collaboration that improves research relevance and the uptake of results. Each convening must produce a practical deliverable supporting future participation in or dissemination of patient-centered CER. Any health topic meeting program guidelines is welcome; funding is not limited to PCORI’s Topic Themes.
