Summary: Supports convenings to foster collaboration and disseminate patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER) findings among patients, caregivers, and the healthcare community.
This opportunity, offered by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), funds projects that organize convenings, meetings, or conferences to advance patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER). Projects must align with PCORI’s mission to expand patient-centered CER and focus on one of two tracks: (1) facilitating discussion and engagement around patient-centered CER topics and questions, or (2) disseminating findings from PCORI-funded research to targeted audiences. The program is designed to foster collaboration, share engagement methods, and produce deliverables that inform or facilitate future involvement in patient-centered CER. Active partnership with patients and stakeholders is required throughout the project, and applicants must integrate PCORI’s Foundational Expectations for Partnerships in Research.
