Description
This grant program, offered by the Engineering Information Foundation (EiF), supports projects aimed at improving the communication skills of undergraduate engineering students. Recognizing the critical importance of listening, speaking, writing, and visual/graphic communication in engineering practice, EiF seeks to fund the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative curricular models and instructional methods. Projects may leverage emerging technologies (e.g., AR/VR, AI), foster interdisciplinary collaboration between engineering and communication experts, and create replicable frameworks to benchmark and elevate communication competencies within engineering education.
EiF particularly welcomes proposals from minority-serving institutions in the US and institutions in developing countries. The foundation encourages collaborative and scalable projects with measurable outcomes that can drive significant and lasting change in engineering education.
