Description
This Horizon Europe Innovation Action funds collaborative projects that develop, test, and demonstrate innovative solutions, business models, and cooperation frameworks to enable farmers to diversify crop production. The aim is to improve profitability, resilience, and sustainability of farming systems, while strengthening local value chains and promoting biodiversity and climate adaptation/mitigation. Projects must assess the economic, social, and environmental impacts of their innovations, devise tailored exploitation pathways, and provide creative dissemination materials to support farmers in transitioning to diversified cropping systems. Proposals must involve a multi-actor consortium, including SMEs, technology developers, farmers, and consumers, and cover various farming systems, including organic.
