The New Jersey Department of Human Services’ Division of Aging Services is expanding the Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers. The program aims to reduce stress among dementia caregivers, improve the experience of people living with dementia and their caregivers, and strengthen New Jersey’s dementia-care capacity.
Awards support organizations delivering nine-week, small-group class series in additional counties. Applicants may work with partner organizations, and priority is given to those able to offer classes in both English and Spanish. The initiative also expands the network of trained Facilitators and Master Trainers who can deliver the program.
