Description
The Environmental Education and Stewardship (Outcome 4) program, managed by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Watershed & Climate Services, funds projects that enhance the capacity of students and communities to take meaningful action benefiting local watersheds and ecosystems. The program supports professional and community development, curriculum expansion, outdoor learning, and stewardship activities. Its goal is to build environmental literacy and foster hands-on engagement, contributing to resilient ecosystems and communities throughout Maryland. Funding is provided through the EPA’s Chesapeake Bay Implementation Grant.
