    Description

    This program supports the establishment and operation of Environmental Health Sciences Core Centers (EHSCCs) that function as intellectual and collaborative hubs for environmental health research. The goal is to enhance research capacity, provide shared resources, and foster innovative, multidisciplinary investigations into the relationships between environmental exposures and human health. EHSCCs are expected to drive scientific advances, support translational research, and engage communities to promote public health improvements consistent with the 2025–2029 NIEHS Strategic Plan. The program also emphasizes career development and the recruitment of new investigators into the environmental health sciences.
