Description
This program provides grants of up to $1,000 to TK-12 teachers at low-income public schools in select Bay Area counties. The funding aims to enhance environmental science curriculum through hands-on learning, classroom projects, field trips, supplies, and professional development for teachers. The grant supports a variety of activities, including gardening clubs, water testing, composting/recycling, academic subscriptions, and teacher workshops, with the goal of fostering experiential education and engaging students in environmental science beyond the classroom.
