Description
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s EnVision CF program develops clinicians’ expertise in the endocrine and reproductive health needs of people with cystic fibrosis. It addresses growing demand for specialized care and corresponding clinical research and scholarship. Physicians can develop or expand a career focus in CF endocrinology or reproductive health, while advanced practice providers may receive support for work focused on CF-related diabetes.
The three-year program combines protected time, clinical experience, local and national mentorship, and professional meetings. Its Academic Clinician track combines patient care with scholarship, generally research. Its Clinical Educator track emphasizes regional networks, educational resources, quality improvement, and support for providers caring for people with CF-related diabetes, particularly in areas underserved by CF endocrine specialists.
